What a month. What a week. Today was awesome.

Nineties one week, sixties the next. Over and over. All in the name of fall, winter's prelude.
Just this week, we hit 91 on Monday. Now im writing this at 48 degrees. Today barely made it into the 50s- 52 being today's high. Snowshoe, WV picked up their first snow of the season, And most areas in the region above 2500' should see the flakes.

Another big event went down this week- Arapahoe Basin, CO opened Wednesday morning, and earned the title of first open ski resort in North America for the second year in a row. now for the eye candy.

Snowshoe, WV-

"As of 3:20pm on Thursday, October 11 Snowshoe Mountain is experiencing the first snowfall of the season! It's cloudy, windy and 32 degrees... perfect weather for a ski resort! Although we don't expect this snow to accumulate, it's a sign of great things to come. Our projected opening date is November 21, and we hope to begin making snow in early November."

Ahh.
